Scrappy Saturday - Blue

Blue is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge colour this month. It is one of my favorite colours and I have a wide range of scraps to organize. I decided to separate my blue scraps into three piles - light blues, dark blues and aquas.
This is as far as I got this week...still sorting into light blue and dark blue.
Check out the blue scrap posts at SoScrappy.

I love blues as well, and this is a nice mix of shades.

Sometimes the preparation takes the longest time, doesn't it? For me, it was the sorting of those scraps by size so I could see what I had to work with! (I dropped in from the Rainbow Scraps Challenge again)

Good method. Thanks for the tip. Blues are often difficult to match and blend. You have a nice blue collection :D

Sometimes just sorting (playing!) fabric brings the spark of inspiration. Love seeing all your varieties of blue and aqua. I may have to make some aqua blocks this go-round.

You have some gorgeous blue fabrics there! Sorting them out is a good idea and something I should do too instead of churning them over in the box :)) Elly
